The Abtech high voltage electrical enclosure range for HV hazardous areas has been developed and expanded to the five major ranges shown in this section.

Abtech Hazardous Area Junction Boxes & Electrical Enclosures

Product Type Description

Abtech DPJB

Original "down hole pump" cable connection box

Abtech HVJB

High voltage electrical enclosure (ATEX) up to 11kV

Abtech LR

High voltage electrical enclosure (ATEX) up to 3.3kV

Abtech MJB

High voltage electrical enclosure (ATEX) up to 6.6kV

Abtech Busbar Box

Busbar enclosure for terminating 11kV cables

Abtech Busbar Box range of high voltage electrical enclosures enables 11kV cable terminations and cable connections up to 1000sqmm conductors. The intelligent design of the Abtech Busbar Box range allows high voltage cables to enter the electrical enclosure and to be terminated onto the busbar without having to be bent - quick and easy high voltage cable terminations (11kV) are thereby ensured in normally difficult cabling applications. Cold Shrink Cable Terminations - ideal for terminating high voltage cables in hazardous areas without resort to heat-shrinking in potentially explosive atmospheres.
