Surge Arresters For Gas-Insulated Switchgear For System Voltage Up To 550kV

 

The ABB AZ high voltage HV surge arrster is made for the protection of GIS switchgear (SF6 gas insulated switchgear) against both multiple atmospheric and switching overvoltages. ABB AZ surge arresters are also suitable for protection of high voltage transformers. ABB surge arresters are designed for both indoor and outdoor installation. These surge arresters are designed and type-tested according to IEC 62271-203 and IEC 60099-4.
