T&D have supplied a range of industrial Abtech IP66 SX1.5 stainless steel enclosures for a project in Australia via Broderick Ltd.

Abtech SX stainless steel enclosures are made from stainless steel grade 316L. Orbital finish is standard. Electro-polishing is available as an alternative. The Abtech SX stainless steel enclosures are fabricated from 2mm (14 gauge) material for the enclosure carcass and lid and 3mm (10 gauge) material for cable gland plates.

Standard mounting is by means of four 3mm thick mounting straps welded to the back of the electrical enclosure. Slotted upper straps ease installation. Custom mounting facilities are available.

The SX range of enclosures are suitable for use in hazardous areas and were specifically designed to meet the rigours of the North Sea environment and is capable of achieving IP66 and IP67. Abtech SX1.5 enclosures have temperature ratings of  -50°C to +175°C in hazardous areas and -60°C to +200°C in non-hazardous areas plus a power rating of 32.284W.

Abtech SX stainless steel enclosures are available in a range of sizes and specific depths are manufactured on request. User friendly internal sliding terminal rails for ease of cabling. High voltage, high current and fault rated stainless steel versions are also available. ATEX certified versions available.
