Ritherdon RB800 cabinet enclosures have been selected by PIPS Technology to provide housing to automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras. Specialist Ritherdon electrical cabinets are available with plug points and consumer units which are used to house several police ANPR installations across the UK.

The RB range of cabinets are highly flexible with a modular design meaning they are suitable as enclosures for protecting electrical and/or electronic equipment in the most inhospitable external environments. Ritherdon have developed a new hinge system which meets all the requirements needed by the highway industry - easy removal of the door, 180º opening and extra strength.

Ritherdon RB800 stainless steel cabinets can be supplied with a detachable plinth which is installed in the ground before fastening the cabinet down. Alternatively, the cabinets can be fixed down to any hard, flat surface, without the plinth.
