Today, T&D have supplied Lucy Zodion Feeder Pillars to provide on-site low voltage LV electricity distribution at Manchester City Football Club.

The feeder pillars will house electrical equipment to control and provide exterior lighting, car park lighting and flood lighting.

Car parks with lighting in areas that are not necessarily used regularly can be automatically controlled using sensors contained within Lucy Zodion Feeder Pillars.

Lighting levels can be reduced when areas are not in use so as to minimise energy wastage and light pollution.

Lucy Lighting Fortress Double Door Feeder Pillar - Specification

• Two, three hinged door feeder pillars
• Long life hinges made from solid stainless steel
• Two Lucy wedge locks fitted as standard
• Backboard made from 18mm thick treated plywood
• Detachable root section finished in bitumen enriched paint
• Danger warning label fitted in a recess in the feeder pillar door
• Earth lead connection supplied from feeder pillar body to door
• HDP feeder pillars powder coated grey as standard
• High quality UV resistant paint to a minimum 60 microns thickness
• Feeder pillar door seal up to IP65
• Detachable feeder pillar roof
• No fixed bar between doors allows total access for installing equipment
