Marechal ATEX Plugs & Sockets

Marechal Electric designs, produces and markets plugs and socket-outlets for use in hazardous areas zones 1, 21, 2 and 22 with combined safety "ed", in compliance with ATEX.

Marechal Electric has been audited to verify that its quality system meets IECEx requirements, based upon ISO 9001, with additional singularities concerning manufacturing and test of Ex components.

Watertightness is automatically achieved as soon as the Marechal Ex plug is fully inserted into socket-outlet or when lid of socket-outlet is closed, without any other manipulation.

A sole gasket located in the socket-outlet achieves IP66/67 (DXN) for hazardous area power distribution and control.

Marechal plug casings are made of polyamide (Marechal DXN) or metal (Marechal DX) providing an outstanding resistance to corrosive environments, UV, chemical agents and offering a great resistance to shocks: impact resistance IK 08 (Marechal DXN) and IK10 (Marechal DX).
