Pfisterer KP-Test 5 High Voltage Detectors

 

In the past, Pfisterer has carried out fundamental research in the electrical safety equipment field, which has found its way into international standards. The KP-Test 5 capacitive voltage detector can be used for indoor and outdoor medium voltage applications and indicates the presence of operating voltage when the conductor is contacted.

• Integrated audible signal for reliable voltage tests, even under noisy environmental conditions
• Extremely bright LEDs in the optimal arrangement – for increased safety
• Reliable self-test on power-up, which even checks the contact electrode extension
• Intelligent modular system which also includes very light and short voltage testers
• Indoor and outdoor use with one voltage detector device
• Optimised operator comfort – a light finger pressure and the KP-Test 5 is active
• Designed and constructed in accordance with IEC 61243-1:2003
