HV Cable Joints & Terminations

Nexans Euromold high voltage cold shrink cable jointing kits are suitable for 6.6kV, 11kV, 24kV and 33kV cables including straight, transition and stop-end cable joints for single and 3 core cables. Nexans HV cold shrink cable joints are also suitable for direct burial underground, cable tray and submersible jointing applications. Nexans high voltage joints are tested to CENELEC HD 629.1 and HV jointer training can be provided. 

Nexans Cold Shrink Cable Joint Check List:

• Cable type - single or three core

• System voltage kV

• Conductor type - aluminium or copper, cross section area (sqmm)

• Core insulation type - XLPE, EPR, Paper

• Semi-conductive screen type - bonded screen, easy strip screen

• Cable screen type - copper wire or copper tape screen

• Armour type - SWA, STA or unarmoured

• Cable outer sheath diameter

Nexans cold shrinkable high voltage straight and transition cable joints are suitable for all single and three core cables at 11kV, 24kV and 33kV, 35-1000sqmm conductors.
