The first manufacturer of intercity buses in Turkey, OTOKAR, perfectly meets the local authorities’ needs for urban transportation. All OTOKAR’s products are known for their high performance and durability, especially the Vectio range (Doruk in the Turkish market).

In order to maintain such performances, OTOKAR’s new series of Doruk electrical buses has been equipped with Marechal Plugs (blue) power socket outlets.

The Marechal Decontactor DS9 plug ranges ensure absolute safety upon connecting and disconnecting while recharging the vehicles. The Marechal decontactor makes and breaks contact on load.

Unique safety and technology. Marechal 150A power outlets are equipped with a unique technology. The Marechal disconnecting function is integrated into the socket.

This patented system allows the socket to be incorporated into the vehicle recharging panel. The compactness and integrated safety guarantee easy installation into a panel fitted with a lid.

This panel gives the whole connection system a second level of protection, ideal for outdoor applications.

The Marechal connector has also been designed to resist overloads. Moreover, each Marechal power outlet has a built-in IP4X/IPXXD safety shutter to protect end-users.

Any mayor and his or her municipal civil defense officers feel relaxed about such secure municipal equipments: it is virtually impossible for anyone (children included) to manipulate or access the live contacts, as parts of the electrically energized outlets.

The Marechal Decontractor DS plus is thus accessible to all users and does not require special authorization or specific training.
