Seaward Halo Hooks are HV high voltage ammeters for use by linesmen on overhead lines up to 40kV (including 33kV power lines) - HV ammeters are manufactured to provide RMS AC current measurements up to 2000 Amps on high voltage overhead power lines.

Seaward Halo Hooks are quickly and easily hooked over the overhead powerline conductor by the linesman with use of a hot stick - Seaward Halo Hook accomodate up to 50mm overhead power line conductors. Seaward Halo Hook provides effective spot load measurements on single or multi-phase high voltage overhead powerline systems to determine the load balance and are used by global power utilities.
