Prysmian Barr-A Explosion Proof Glands - 424UN Series 

 

Prysmian 424UN cable glands are suitable for unarmored RW 90 type & (TC) tray cables. Prysmian Barr-A glands aid the control of migrating gases and is the best choice for when the highest level of hazard protection is required. 

Suitable for hazardous area locations Class 1 Division 2 Groups A&B, Class 1 Division 2 Groups C&D, Class II Division 2 Groups E, F & G.

• Tested to UL and CSA standards
• UL Listed for Class 1, division 1 & 2 Applications
• Suitable for unarmoured tray cables - TC-ER-HL & TC-ER 
• Suitable for unarmored tray cables – category TC-ER-HL & TC-ER
• Aluminum construction with nickel plated brass inner components 
• Compound forms barrier around individual cores, so preventing migration of gases through the centre of the cable
• For use in most climatic conditions, rated to IP66 for wet locations
• For use with explosion proof equipment in Zone 1 and 2 hazardous areas and for Class I, Div 1 & 2 applications
• Equivalent European designs available: Approved to European & IECEx standards
