Ellis Patents Stainless Steel Cable Cleats

 

T&D have recommended and supplied Ellis Patents Vulcan stainless steel cable cleats to client Veolia Water for containing 11kV XLPE single core 800sqmm cables in trefoil formation at the AGR 132kV Substation Sellafield.

Ellis Patents Vulcan VRT09 cable cleats unique compact design allows easy cable cleat installation where space is limited. 

With UK manufacturing, Ellis Patents delivered the cable cleats on a tight delivery schedule to enable commissioning and testing of the high voltage cable network.

Vulcan cable cleats are manufactured in type 316 stainless steel offering ultimate protection against the harshest environmental conditions.

To protect and cushion the cables during short circuit conditions, the cable cleat comes with an integral LSF Zero Halogen Polymeric liner and base pad.

As part of a major project package T&D also supplied Prysmian Cable Glands, Prysmian Multistraps, SPS Heat Shrink Cable Terminations 11kV and Nexans Cold Shrink Cable Joints 24kV to enable the cleating, jointing, terminating and glanding of the low voltage and high voltage cables.
