Bare copper earth tape is a high conductivity conductor for earthing and lightning protection systems - the correct earth tape is determined by the application and expected fault current. Copper earth tapes are to BS EN 13601 (formerly BS 1432). PVC covered copper earth tape is available in black, green, grey, stone, white, brown, green and green/yellow - PVC covered copper earth tapes to BS5252 are selected on the basis of aesthetic impact of the conductor upon the structure to be earthed. UV stabilised PVC covered copper earthing tapes are colour matched to suit the most common building materials. LSOH Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSF) insulated copper earth tapes are available. A complete range of copper conductors for below ground earthing applications including bare copper, tape and stranded conductors. All copper earthing tapes are subject to price fluctuation on the LME London Metal Exchange.

Copper LME Base Rate: Copper is a commodity traded on the London Metal Exchange (LME) daily, therefore the price of copper based earthing and lightning protection products fluctuates in line with the LME. To keep these variations minimised, copper items are sold in price bands relating to the LME base rate.
