Tin plated cable lugs provide superior and extended service in industrial, hazardous and offshore installations - tin plating is recommended for corrosive atmospheres (offshore, marine, oil, gas, petrochem and water industries). Noxious gases or liquids overtime attack surfaces of copper cable lugs which potentially can cause electrical and mechanical failure overtime. Cembre tin-plated cable lugs resist corrosion degradation for stable low and high voltage cable connections up to 33kV.

Cembre A-M tin-plated cable lugs areCembre Cable Lugs - A Range LV Cable Lugs manufactured from high purity copper tube - Cembre A-M cable lugs are rated up to 11kV for dry indoor applications provided Cembre ME hexagonal die sets are used and the crimp lugs are installed using suitably calibrated Cembre crimping tools.

Cembre 2A-M tin-plated cable lugs are manufactured from high purity copper tube - Cembre 2A-M cable lugs are rated up to 33kV provided Cembre ME hexagonal die sets are used. Cembre crimp lugs must be installed using suitably calibrated Cembre crimping tools, this could include Cembre HT131-C hydraulic or Cembre B131-C battery crimping tools.
