Catu Electrical Safety Equipment
Catu CC-875-10/36kV Voltage Detector
T&D have supplied high voltage CATU voltage detectors and electrical safety equipment to Devon Wind Farm's Fullabrook Substation. The Catu IEC voltage detectors will be used by ESB EI Renewables for carrying out high voltage maintenance and routine work on substations, switchgear and electrical equipment.

Devon Wind Power Ltd owns the Fullabrook Wind Farm situated between Barnstaple and Ilfracombe in North Devon in an area surrounding Fullabrook Down. Fullabrook Wind Farm consists of 22 turbines of each of up to 3 megawatts capacity. It is estimated that the wind farm will provide sufficient electricity for nearly 30,000 domestic households.
Following planning permission being granted in October 2007, Fullabrook Wind Farm was constructed and commissioned in 2011. In July 2009, ESB Wind Development UK acquired Devon Wind Power Limited and is now fully responsible for the project. The ultimate parent company of ESB Wind Development UK is the Electricity Supply Board (ESB). Headquartered in Dublin, ESB is Ireland's state-owned electricity utility with significant international energy interests. ESB’s corporate strategy is to halve its current carbon emissions within 12 years and achieve carbon net-zero emissions by 2035.
