T&D Exports with UK DTI's support closed a £135K business deal to supply ArcelorMittal Liberia with High Voltage Electrical Equipment, PPE & Cable Jointing Accessories to iron ore mining project.

ArcelorMittal mining operations in Liberia are spread over four regions, with iron ore mined at Tokadeh in Nimba County.

T&D have completed the delivery High Voltage Electrical Equipment including Baur High Voltage DC Test Sets (50kV & 80kV units) & Oil Testing Equipment.

Baur High Voltage Test Sets PGK 50/80

Baur portable high voltage devices are designed for at site testing of paper-insulated mass-impregnated cables in MV networks. Baur PGK 50/80 are used for the generation of negative high voltage of up to 50kV or 80kV. The HV test devices are easily portable - packaged in a carry case with handles and carrying strap, well equipped for field applications.

• Stepless adjustable output voltage
• Voltage measurement is made directly at high voltage output
• Timer 1-30 min
• Sensitive current measurement for acquisition of smallest insulation currents (6 ranges)

• Socket for safety contact, emergency off switch, external signal lamps connection of Y/t plotter for recording the current output
