3M HDCW80/25 Cable Wraparound Repair Sleeves

 

T&D today secured a new order for 30off 3M HDCW80/25 cable wraparound repair sleeves from a South-West based exploration company that delivers a wide range of connecting, jointing technologies and services throughout the global upstream oil and gas industry, including a range of unique seismic acquisition services.

3M HDCW wraparound heat shrink cable repair sleeves are designed to quickly repair damaged cable jacketing. They may also be used to rejacket in-line splices. HDCW wrap sleeves can be used as insulation material on cable and splices up to 1000 volts and as jacket repair material on cable up to 35kV. 3M HDCW is made from modified cross-linked polyolefin with a hot-melt adhesive coated to the inner side of the sleeve.

The design of the wrap sleeve allows it to be installed in tight spaces with ordinary heating equipment such as a torch. T&D are the UK’s largest stockist of 3M Electrical Cable Accessories.
