Heat shrink cable sheath repair kits improve the electrical and mechanical3M HDCW - Heat Shrink Cable Repair Wraparound Kits condition of all low and high voltage cables with cable sheath damage - including oil, fire, accidental and general service damage to LV-HV cables.

3M Wraparound Heat Shrink Cable Repair HDCW sleeves are designed to quickly repair damaged cable jacketing and rejacket in-line cable splices in the rail, offshore and marine, solar, street lighting, oil and gas and power industries.  

Wraparound heat shrink cable sheath repair kits provide excellent mechanical protection, corrosion resistance and reinstatement to damaged cable insulations - where significant cable damage has exposed the cable armour it is recommended that the cable should be jointed.

3M HDCW heat shrink cable repair kits include an adhesive lining to the inner side of the heat shrink sleeve and a stainless steel rail for zip-up style installation - upon heating the heat shrink sleeve shrinks and the adhesive melts achieving a waterproof seal between the sleeve and the cable. 3M wraparound cable sheath repair kits are ideal for repairing mid-circuit damage to LV-HV cables (3.3kV, 6,6kV, 11kV, 33kV and triplex cable repairs).

3M Cold Shrink EPDM rubber tubes can be used for cable repair where open3M Cold Shrink Tubes access to cables permit installation - suitable for underground direct burial, outdoor (UV resistant) and submersible cables. 3M Cold Shrink Silicone tubes provide LSOH low smoke zero halogen cable sheath repairs.

3M Scotch 130C Self-Amalgamating Rubber tape can be used with 3M Scotch 88+ All Weather PVC tape to repair damaged fibre optic cables.
