Abtech ZAG aluminium electrical enclosures and junction boxes are ATEX certified and suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.

Abtech ZAG enclosures are available in 19 diffferent sizes manufactured from precision die cast in Al Si 12 grade (LM24) aluminium alloy – the ambient temperature of ZAG range is from -70°C to 130°C.

The Abtech ZAG aluminium range of hazardous area enclosures feature excellent ingress protection qualities meaning this enclosure has been tested and passed IP65/IP66/IP67.

Aluminium enclosures arehazardous area certified ATEX and IECEx Ex ‘e’ (Zone 1 & 2), Ex ‘nA’ (Zone 2) and Class 1, Div 2 (CSA, UL & FM).

The Abtech ZAG range of aluminium enclosures and junction boxes have many features for use in a wide range of electrical applications - including industrial and hazardous area junction boxes and OEM applications where the excellent machining qualities of aluminium are preferred.

The Abtech ZAG range of aluminium enclosures and junction boxes can be machined, drilled, tapped with various thread forms and readily accepts most paint finishes and colours. Standard earthing is achieved via external/internal stainless steel studs.

Abtech ZAG enclosures can be supplied fitted with cable terminals or as empty junction boxes. Rail mounted earth terminals or customised earth bars can be fitted inside the electrical enclosure.
