T&D Exports have submitted their bid for the Petronas EPCC Diamond Drilling Platform project in Vietnam with the commerical and technical support of Peppers Cable Glands.

Peppers brass cable glands with nickel plating are Flameproof Exd and Increased Safety Exe rated to provide safe cable terminations in Zone 1 hazardous areas for unarmoured and wire braided cables.

Cable glands are ingress protected to IP66. Dust tight. No ingress of dust possible. Protected against heavy seas or powerful jets of water. Prevents ingress sufficient to cause harm.

Peppers cable glands have an extensive range of international approvals incorporating ATEX, IECEx, UL, CSA, GOST, INMETRO & NEPSI as well as marine approvals by ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), RMRS (Russian Maritime) & Lloyds Register. Peppers cable glands are designed and tested for use in Ex d, Ex e, Ex nR and Ex t hazardous area protection concepts.
