T&D have supplied Schneider Electric with 100 metres of high voltage switchgear matting to provide electrical safety to the new switchrooms at New South Glasgow Hospital, Scotland.
MD553 Electrosafe 30kv ASTM D178 /ANSI JS.7 Type 11 Class 1. Electrical switchboard safety Rubber matting fully tested to the above standards, to include full testing over the entire mat surface and stamped on the reverse every 100cm with identification coding. An extremely ultra high specification and high quality natural rubber compound electrical safety matting product able to withstand the following :
Electrical switchgear safety matting prevents electrical shocks whilst working on open or live LV-HV switchgear and electrical equipment including 3.3kV, 6.6kV, 11kV, 15kV, 20kV and 33kV systems.
