Earthing & Lightning Protection.
Substation Earth End Clamps - PB Weir CE22-BESI-L2 & CE20-ESI-E1 clamps are used for application to clean and dirty copper or aluminium strip. The PB Weir substation earth end clamps are tested to 17.5 kA for 2 secs for high voltage installations.
Substation Earth end clamps are spring loaded enabling manual application to aluminium or copper earth bars. Live end clamps are applied by operating sockets attached to an insulated operating pole.
PB Weir portable earthing equipment is specifically for maintenance on high voltage networks to provide safe and reliable earth clamping where electrical connections are to be made to dirty or heavily oxidised copper/aluminium bars or stubs. This includes portable earthing for 33kV, 66kV, 132kV, 275kV and 400kV including line end clamps and earth end clamps. Portable earthing equipment is also electrical safety equipment used for the discharging and grounding of de-energised electrical equipment, including high voltage transformers, substations, 11-33kV cable ends and overhead lines. PB Weir portable earthing systems include line end clamps, earth end clamps, earthing leads and operating poles for high voltage substations, overhead line and transmission line. PB Weir portable earthing systems provide safe and sure clamping where high voltage electrical connections are to be made.
