MCT Cable Transits - Seal Cables Against Fire, Gas, Smoke & Water.

T&D working with SSE Contracting have supplied 9 MCT Brattberg Cable Transit Frames to provide fire protection to LV-HV cables entering and leaving switchrooms and transformer rooms at Solihull Hospital.

The special customised Cable Transit Frames are being manufactured by MCT Brattberg from galvanised mild steel - MCT Brattberg RGB Cable Transit Frames are to be supplied with custom made busbar blocks to provide a fire rated cable transit seal. MCT Brattberg Cable Transit System seals cables against, fire, gas, smoke and water and also functions as a cable management system.

MCT Brattberg specialise in “Putting Safety First” and offer their clients and customers, confidence and peace of mind.

The cable sealing project required a total of 9 cable transit frames each sealing various LV-HV power and LV control cables entering the switchrooms and transformer rooms.
