Marechal DSN Decontactors - Industrial Power Supply

Belgian vegetable preparation company, Legumex, uses around 100,000m³ of water annually for the cleaning and preparation of fresh vegetables - this amount of water and 24/7 operation 365 days a year, means that their electrical plug and socket connections must be completely water-tight, robust and reliable.

Legumex uses Marechal DSN1 Decontactor plugs and sockets on the permanent power supplies to the production line and in the maintenance workshop.

Rated for currents of up to 20A, Marechal DSN1 Decontactors are sealed to IP66/67 making them completely watertight even for pressure-washing, when connected and disconnected.

An integrated switch mechanism means that the maintenance team can immediately and safely disconnect or connect equipment without the need for a qualified electrician.

This makes maintenance faster and significantly more cost-effective than the alternative of hard wired equipment.

Marechal plugs and sockets are made from glass-reinforced polyester body, silver-nickel butt contacts and vibration-proof terminals - Marechal Decontactors are resistant to corrosion and shock, providing long-term reliability, even after thousands of connections and disconnections.
