Unitrunk are delighted to announce that they have obtained approved product status from a number of its cable management ranges.

Providing product to London Underground projects demands compliance to the most rigorous standards.

Strict quality controls and demanding installation criteria requires products and service that meets the highest standards.

To have Transport for London approve products to be included on the product register makes a clear statement as to the quality of those products.

It is a benchmark for consultants or contractors assessing the suitability and durability of products.

Unitrunk met the challenge head on when, a couple of years ago although not on the approved product register, they were specified to manufacture and supply a range of bespoke single and multi - compartment trunking for a communications, P.A and Fire alarm project.

Unique installation requirements resulted in over 480 bespoke components being manufactured, a dedicated on site engineer and design team provided the solutions.

The products approved with their respective LU London Underground reference numbers are:

Unitrunk 1816	Unitrunk Lighting Trunking	Manufactured from galvanised sheet steel to BS EN 10346: 2009.
Unitrunk 1817	Unitrunk Cable Tray	Available in light, medium and heavy patterns produced in pre-galvanised mild steel to BS EN 10346:2009 or galvanised in accordance with BS EN ISO1461.
Unitrunk 1819	Unitrunk Cable Ladder	Conforming to BS EN 61537:2007 Speedway Cable Ladder is a major advance in cable ladder design Provides faster and easier installation with a unique coupler locking system and a comprehensive range of accessories.
Unitrunk 1820	Unitrunk Cable Tray Basket	EasyConnect Cable Basket system adheres to the Rapid Installation Systems philosophy. The integral coupler simply pushes together to form a secure joint - no additional couplers or special tools required.
Unitrunk 1822	Unitrunk Channel and Supports	Interlok Channels are made in deep, shallow, plain, slotted and multiple combination profiles in accordance with BS 6946. Standard lengths are 3 and 6 metres, with a wide range of other lengths, brackets and beam clamps available.
