CMP Cable Glands

Triton T3CDS cable glands use a new concept in cable sealing and glanding techniques, incorporating the patented CMP Compensating Displacement Seal System, CDS.

CMP Triton cable glands handle all types and sizes of cable construction. The CMP T3CDS glands provide effective sealing on the cable inner sheath, using a reliable and explosion proof sealing device. CMP Triton CDS cable glands are easy to install and have a high level of safety.

CMP Triton cable glands are extensively specified and designed to provide effective mechanical retention and sealing of wire braid armoured cables (galvanised steel and phosphur bronze), steel wire armoured (SWA) and steel tape armoured (STA) cables - CMP Triton glands are certified under ATEX for installation in flameproof Cat 2 (Zone 1) and Cat 3 (Zone 2) hazardous areas. IP66/67 cable sealing is achieved for marine and offshore oil and gas applications where Deluge Proof cable glands are vital to protect against offshore cable armour corrosion.

CMP Triton cable glands are compatible with 3M Cold Shrink cable terminations for glanding BS6883 shipboard offshore power cables with EPR insulation and wire braid armour - this includes 3.3kV, 6.6kV and 11kV voltage offshore cables.
