Cembre A-M cable lugs are manufactured from high purity copper tube - Cembre A-M cable lugs are rated up to 11kV for dry indoor applications provided Cembre ME hexagonal die sets are used and the crimp lugs are installed using suitably calibrated Cembre crimping tools. Cembre A-M cable lugs, made from copper tube, are designed to obtain the most efficient electrical conductivity and mechanical strength to resist vibration and pull out. Cembre A-M copper cable lugs are annealed - applications subject to vibration require cable lugs to provide a reliable electrical crimped connection. Annealed cable lugs resist cracking or breaks between the cable lugs barrel and palm. Cembre A-M cable lugs feature an inspection hole to allow visual inspection of the cable conductor insertion into the cable lug barrel. The barrel length of Cembre A-M lugs allow easy and accurate positioning of the Cembe hexagonal die sets during the crimping operation. Cembre A-M cable lugs have an operating temperature of 150 Degrees Celsius.

Cembre 2A-M cable lugs are manufactured from high purity copper tube - Cembre 2A-M cable lugs are rated up to 33kV provided Cembre ME hexagonal die sets are used and the crimp lugs are installed using suitably calibrated Cembre crimping tools. Cembre 2A-M cable lugs feature a double length barrel for enhanced electrical and mechanical performance in high voltage cable terminations. The absence of an inspection hole prevents the entry of water or moisture into the crimped connection - Cembre 2A-M cable lugs are therefore suitable for outdoor cable terminations. Cembre 2A-M cable lugs are electrolytically tin plated to prevent atmospheric corrosion. Cembre 2A-M cable lugs are available to suit stranded copper conductors 16sqmm-1000sqmm with optional stud holes including M8, M10, M12, M14, M16 and M20 depending on the conductor size.

Both Cembre A and 2A range copper tube cable crimp lugs can be installed using Cembre HT131-C Hydraulic Crimping Tool.
