3M Scotch Tapes used include 3M 33+ Vinyl, 3M 2228 Mastic Tape and 3M 2229 Mastic Seal.

The cable jointer reverted to a taped cable breakout solution due to difficulty sizing rejacketing sleeves to insulate and protect the cable cores.
