33kV Terminations For High Voltage Power Cables At New Solar PV Project

T&D have provided a same day kit and despatch service to new client Juwi for the supply of 33kV Cable Terminations.

1TIS-36X-A/E type 33kV terminations are heat shrink indoor terminations to suit single core 33/36kV XLPE 35-70sqmm cables with 650mm tail length (set of 3 phases). The heat shrink terminations include 33kV copper tape screen earth kits. The HV cable boxes did not have cable gland plates therefore armour earthing clamps were used to terminate and gland the aluminium wire armours. T&D kitted and delivered the 18 sets of terminations direct to Hollies Farm solar project to enable site switch-on for 31st March 2013.
 

Juwi Is Constructing...

The site will consist of 36,000 solar modules, with construction commencing in December and a planned completion date of 31st March 2013.
