2. 33kV Screen Removal - Alroc 8YR0-ASC40R2Alloc Cable Jointing Tools

Alroc 8YRO-ASC40R2 bonded semi-conductor screen removal tool (38-60mm) is ideal for 33kV cable jointing and terminating. Used extensively by jointers for stripping the bonded screen from XLPE insulated cables. 

The robust Alroc cable tool features an adjustable handle for jointer comfort with lockable blade depth.

3. 33kV Outer Cable Sheath Removal - Alroc 8YRO-PG3 & 8YRO-PG4 Alloc Jointing Tools

Alroc sheath strippers have been universally adopted by MV-HV cable jointers for the quick and precise removal of the PVC outersheath from 33kV power cables.

4. 33kV Universal Plastic Sheath Strippper - Boddingtons 244510 Boddingtons Electrical Cable Jointing Tools

This plastic cable sheath stripper is used to strip the outer sheath from both LV and MV cables providing longitudinal and circular cuts.

The jointers tool is designed to strip both ends and midspan sections of 33kV cables.

Richard is Certified to install 3M, Nexans, Pfisterer, Tyco, NKT, Shrink Polymer Systems and ABB cable jointing and terminating systems.

Typical Duties Include: 

  • Lead cable jointer/supervisor up to 132kV cables
  • Providing support for MV, HV & EHV jointers  
  • Constructing and maintaining both oil filled and XLPE cables for faults and services
  • Working completing high voltage cables work on a variety of different projects with different clients/companies in a wide range of environments.
  • Responsible for implementing/following Health and Safety and Quality Regulations and procedures throughout works. 
  • Experienced in completing site records
  • Daily interfacing with the clients, local authorities and general public and working under different disciplines
