Cembre 2A range of 11kV cable lugs are suitable for the cable crimping and cable termination of 11kV stranded copper cables.

Cembre range of 2A high voltage copper crimp lugs are suitable for 11kV cables - the extended cable lug barrel provides an excellent crimped connection to stranded copper conductors - generally installed using Cembre ME-C hexagonal die sets and Cembre HT131-C hydraulic cable crimping tool. For repeat, high volume crimping of 11kV cables, whether by cable jointers field working or in electrical workshops producing high voltage cable leads, the Cembe B131-C battery crimping tool is recommended.

Cembre 2A 11kV cable lugs are heavy duty copper tube terminals made from high purity copper tube and annealed - Cembre 2A cable lugs feature a double length barrel for improved electrical and mechanical performance in 11kV high voltage systems. The abscence of an inspection hole prevents the entry of water or moisture into the crimped connection - water blocked cable lugs are suitable for outdoor crimping applications. Cembre 2A high voltage copper cable lugs are electrolyticaly tin plated to prevent atmospheric corrosion - Cembre 2A2M double stud , 2 hole high voltage cable lugs are available. Most commonly, Cembre 2A cable lugs are used to crimp BS6622 11kV XLPE single core and 3 core cables with stranded copper conductors (pictured) for connection into HV switchgear, junction boxes, transformers and motors.

Cembre 11kV cable lugs are suitable for terminating high voltage (HV) stranded copper conductors to BS6360 Class 2. Cembre 11kV cable lugs are suitable for cable terminating and cable crimping 11kV cables indoor and outdoor due to absence of conductor inspection hole - crimped using Cembre hydraulic crimping tools (HT51 up to 240sqmm or HT131-C up to 400sqmm). Cembre 2A copper cable lugs are short circuit tested to BS4579 Part 3 for high voltage 11kV cable crimping termination.
