Tyco Raychem SXSU heat shrink cable joints used to achieve a 33kV cable joint on medium voltage XLPE power cable.. Raychem SXSU cable joints are suitable for use with compression (crimp) splices such as Cembre MT copper splices when jointing stranded copper conductor cables up to 33kV.

Raychem SXSU cable joints are specified for 11kV and 33kV straight cable jointing of medium voltage single core non-armoured polymeric cables (XLPE EPR) without mechanical connectors.
