The design of the heat shrink wraparound cable repair sleeve allows it to be installed in tight spaces with ordinary heating equipment such as a heat shrink gas torch. The heat shrink sleeve is made from modified cross-linked polyolefin, with a hot-melt adhesive liner on the inner side of the sleeve. Upon heating, the cable repair sleeve shrinks and the adhesive melts, creating a water-tight bond between the sleeve and the damaged triplex cable. A corrosion proof metal channel is used to close the sleeve during cable repair installation.

Pictured : 11kV Cable Specification - available in sizes 70sqmm to 300sqmm. Triplex cable features- Solid or stranded aluminium conductor, XLPE insulated, copper wire screen (35mm). MDPE outer cable sheath. Red. 6350/11000 volts (11kV) grade to BS7870. The Triplex cable consists of 3 single core high voltage cables in triplex formation. Red outer sheath can be prone to fading when exposed to U.V rays.
