Temporary Earthing Equipment for National Grid Substation Earth Tapes.

T&D distribute temporary HV earthing kits and equipment for substation earth tapes in accordance with National Grid NSI 24.
 

Earthing kits for high voltage (HV) substation earth tapes cover National Grid substations (400kV-275kV-132kV), Intermediate substations (66kV-33kV-11kV) and Distribution substations (less than 11kV to 415 volt).


2 types of Earth Tape Bridging HV Kits are available :

Type 1 - Earthing Kits & Equipment for Substation Earth Tapes, Earth Tape Bridging Kit List
1 - CE57 Earth tape clamp
2 - 8 metre leads 50sqmm arctic blue with lugs and sleeves
3 - CE20/2 earth end clamp
4- 0.6 metre top section pole c/w socket and rainshed
5- 0.6 metre bottom section pole with blue handgrip
6- Sturdy PVC carrying case


Type 2 - Earthing Kits & Equipment for Substation Earth Tapes, Earth Tape Bridging Kit List
1- CE20/2/A/S/RT earth clamp
2- 8 metre leads 150sqmm clear aluflex with crimp terminations
3- 0.75 metre top section pole
4- Bottom section pole 1.5 metres extendable to 2.5 metres
5- Sturdy PVC carrying case

T&D provide electrical safety to Lloyds National Electricity Registration Scheme contractors - Lloyds NERS LV-HV electrical contractors work on behalf of the UK Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) providing services :

• design low and high voltage electrical systems

• project management

• cable laying (LV,11kV,33kV,132kV)

• cable jointing (dead LV, live LV,11kV, 33kV, 132kV)

• overhead lines wooden pole and/or steel tower (up to 132kV)

• substation installation (up to 11kV/415V)

• substation installation (11kV,33kV,132kV)

• civil engineering works including excavation, cable laying and backfilling

T&D are approved vendors to most of the UK DNO contractors and welcome further enquiries.
