The SebaKMT MFM 10 cable sheath testing equipment is an easy and reliable tool to test the sheath of cables. The MFM 10 cable fault locator also performs a pre-location pinpointing of detected faults.  

The SebaKMT MFM 10 cable fault locator has bipolar pre-location which supports the detection of galvanic and thermoelectric influences and increases the accuracy and quality of the pre-location.  The SebaKMT MFM 10 has a rotary encoder principle for the entry of data and the fault detector is supported by a touch screen.

The SebaKMT MFM 10 cable sheath tester also has a very powerful 10 kV DC source with positive and negative polarity which allows the testing of HV cables. The available high current of up to 750 mA on the MFM 10 enables the burning of difficult cable faults. The MFM 10 cable sheath tester has an integrated protocolling feature in combination with the approved Easy-prot Software for an easy and reliable test generation.
