Prysmian G38A Cable Box Filling Compounds For 33kV Cable Projects

T&D have recently supplied 300 tins of Prysmian G38A Cable Box Filling Compound to Saudi Cable Company - SCC provide HV and EHV electrical construction and maintenance services to the Middle East electricity industry. SCC install, joint, terminate, test and commission underground power cables up to 400kV and erect and maintain overhead line power networks up to 500kV.

Prysmian G38A cable box filling compound is a "hot-pour" compound specified to provide high voltage cable box insulation up to 33kV. The cable box compund is to be used on 33kV substations as part of a SCC contract involving the supply, jointing, testing and commissioning of 220kV single core 800sqmm XLPE extra high voltage (EHV) for a transmission development project in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
