Self-Ejecting Marechal Electrical Connectors For Hazardous Areas

Innovation for hazardous areas to provide safe electrical installations for use in hazardous areas, Marechal Electric has developed the explosion-proof DXN Decontactor range of compact and watertight hazardous area electrical connectors.

Rated for operation up to 63A, Marechal DXN decontactors combine a new mechanical self-ejecting mechanism with Marechal’s unique patented Decontactor integrated load-break switch.

T&D distribute a range of Marechal Electric products including:

• Decontactor - Plug & Socket with Integral Load-Break Isolating Switch 
• Hazardous Area Plugs & Sockets For Zones 1 & Zones 2
• Explosion Proof Plugs 

The Marechal DXN decontactors are available in 3 different versions :

1. Standard plugs and connectors
2. Self-ejecting plugs
3. Self-ejecting coupler sockets

Protection from overloads : 2 self-ejecting Marechal systems have been designed to protect equipment from accidental or forcible disconnection and protect equipment from being moved whilst connected.

Marechal DXN plug and socket outlets (decontactors) comply with ATEX hazardous area certification for use in explosive atmospheres including Zones 1 and 2 (gas) and Zones 21 and 22 (dust) and are available in 20amp, 32amp and 63amp.
