Modern-day cable jointers utlilise a broad range of Cable Jointing Tools to ensure precision accuracy and clean removal of cable sheath, cable insulation, semi-conductive screens and core preparation.

The cable jointer is pictured using Intercable cable stripping tools to remove the XLPE insulation from medium voltage power cables to enable application of the cable termination.

Every millimetre is critical in the medium voltage cable preparation process where primary insulation diameters must be carefully measured to prevent possible future cable failures.
