Today, T&D Exports working with the Sudan Ministry of Electricity & Dams (DIU) have secured a £25,500.00 order for the supply of an SEB FW3000 Cable Winch plus a range of cable rollers, cable jack towers and cable socks.

The trend towards a ‘trenchless’ approach to traditional utilities installation and replacement techniques has meant the trailer winch is now an essential tool wherever cable or pipe pulling is taking place.

SEB FW3000 3 tonne capacity single capstan cable winch is an essential asset to any multi-utility business. Fitted with a free spooling payout system which makes it a one man only operation. The cable winch unit is fitted with a pull load indicator with read out via dial gauge.

Cable Winch : The SEB FW3000 cable winch is an extremely robust piece of cable pulling plant, designed specifically to cope with light/medium cable pulls, which are still the main stay in today’s economic environment. The cable winch is designed to be simplistic in operation, and thus you will find the winch is also straightforward to maintain and service.

The result is a cable pulling product, which is cost effective, will provide many years of service, is easy to operate and simplistic to maintain, the SEB FW3000 will be an excellent addition to your plant fleet. Please note that although the cable winch has a line pull of 3t, this is rated at the winch itself and therefore due to friction reductions, this winch will pull cable from a drum weighing up to 10t. This is dependant on the site conditions and cable route.

All SEB International Cable Pulling & Laying Equipment is designed with the operator in mind, indeed the cable winch unit is supplied on a single axle road-going trailer with parking brakes, jockey wheel, prop stands, struts and road going lighting system.

The cable winches are all cosmetically finished to a high standard, and are primed and then finish painted in high gloss, with standard colour Golden Yellow.  

As the cable winches are built to be simplistic in every way, the ability to look after their health can be done at a local level, all items are easily accessible and as T&D export the equipment to all parts of the world, reputable global manufacturers supply most of the equipment we use.
