T&D have recently supplied several cable jointing contractors and jointer training schools with Cable Jointers Tool Kit 2 (Boddington 24011/KIT2) which includes an extensive range of insulated tools such as cable core wedges, cable croppers, coring knives, files, hacksaws, spanners and insulated sockets.

Using cable jointers tools to prepare industrial and utility cables before LV or MV cable jointing and terminating reduces potential cable failures.

LV-HV cable jointing tools enable cable preparation, stripping and cutting of insulation (XLPE, EPR), semi-conductive screens (bonded and peelable) and cable sheaths (PVC, PE, EPR) from single and multi-core cables.
