Working with Carillion Morgan Sindall JV, T&D have supplied the CSD RISE Cable Duct Seal System to provide effective and guaranteed sealing of motorway power and comms cable ducting against water and gas. The A1 Dishforth to Barton ECI  (A1D2B) project has standardised on CSD Sealing Kits. At the time of award in March 2004, this was the largest ECI contract awarded by the Highways Agency and will provide a dual three lane motorway over a length of 40km to replace the existing dual carriageway trunk road, which will be partially retained to meet the requirements of local and non-motorway traffic.
