CSD Duct Seals & Duct Sealing

CSD RISE Duct Seal System

CSD RISE Cable Duct Seals are the most extensively specified sealing system to provide effective protection against water, gas and fire. Non-compliant cable duct seals can lead to flood damaged substations and ultimately power black-out.

CSD RISE: The Difference Is Material - will not deflate or crack unlike inflation and mastic based sealing systems.

CSD RISE duct seal is a multi-cable and pipe transit sealing system  for cable ducts and building entries that uses individual sleeves rather than the NOFIRNO multi sleeves supplied with our RISE RAPID system.

CSD RISE cable ducting system provides protection against flooding and gas ingress. The ducting system consists of two components: RISWAT rubber insert sleeves and FIWA sealant. The RISWAT sleeves are used to guarantee cable separation and as a backing for the sealant layer. FIWA sealant is a high quality silicone based, fire stopping, water repellent sealant.

The system can also be upgraded to provide up to 4 hours of fire protection in accordance with BS EN1366-3 by exchanging the rubber insert sleeves for the fire rated RISE sleeves.
