ASTM D178 Rubber Insulating Matting

 

T&D have delivered their largest order to date for MD552 high voltage switchgear rubber insulating matting to the Pakarab Fertilizers in Pakistan. The ASTM D178 insulating rubber matting will provide protection for working in the vacinity of low and high voltage switchboard and switchgear around the plant.

Electrical safety rubber matting is fully tested to ASTM D178 /ANSI JS.7 Type II (2) Class I (1) standards including full testing over the entire mat surface and stamped on the reverse every 100cm with identification coding. An extremely ultra high specification and high quality natural insulating rubber switchgear matting product able to withstand the following:

• Dielectric Test to 20kV
• Surface Proof Test to 10kV
• Working Voltage 7.5kV
