T&D are supplying SPIE Matthew Hall with Catu Electrical Safety Equipment to enable safe working on low and high voltage switchgear at their JP Morgan contract in London.

SPIE Matthew Hall have ordered 3 Catu Arc Flash Protective Clothing kits rated at 10 cal to protect electrical engineers against arc flash hazards.

Arc flash burns can be some of the most devastating injuries suffered in the workplace. Personal protective clothing can reduce the risk of arc flash injuries.

Arc flash protective clothing is rated based on the ability to protect against electrical arcs, the arc rating is expressed in cal/cm. The protective clothing worn by employees must be based upon the incident energy associated with the task being performed.
