3M Scotchcast Resins are suitable for for low and high voltage electrical insulation and cabling applications. 3M Scotchcast resins have an excellent adhesion to cables and together with excellent mechanical, electrical and chemical resistance.

3M Scotchcast resins are suitable for all sizes and types of cables, cable joints and cable splices with VDE 0291 Part 2 approval.

3M Scotchcast Resins are 100% solids, thermosetting, electrical-grade insulating resins. Classified chemically as either Scotchcast epoxy resins or polyurethane resins, the 3M product line includes two-part epoxy liquids and two part polyurethane liquids.

Scotchcast resins unique electrical and physical properties make them ideal for insulating and protecting electrical/electronic parts and assemblies.

3M Scotchcast physical features also make them suitable for non-electrical, general use applications - for example, as adhesives and sealants.
