The Tyco cold-applied medium voltage cable joint body with built-in stress control is parked and ready for cold-shrinking down onto the third single core cable.

Heat-shrinking in close quarter and limited access cable jointing holes can hamper the jointer - cold shrink naturally requires no heat shrink torch or gas bottle and therefore permits more working space.
