3M Cold Shrink Barrier Boot System is for the installation of high voltage cable terminations to bushing connections in HV switchgear and transformers.

3M bushing boots are suitable for insulating paper and polymeric cables (11kV - 75kV BIL) up to 630sqmm and are installed to provide electrical insulation to the point where the Cold Shrink Cable Termination is connected to the high voltage equipment bushing up to 15kV.

3M Scotchcast Inline Barrier Boots MB63 are used for the installation of cable termination to bushing connections in high voltage switchgear and transformer cable end boxes for inline applications.
