PTC RECO reusable cable bottle joints are suitable for single and multicore traffic power cables using a unique cable glanding system that does not require jointing resins or gels to maintain the integrity of the electrical cable termination.

PTC cable bottle joints can be opened and resealed without specialist tools, heat sources (heat shrinking) or chemical protection.

The transparent PTC joint enclosures enable the cable terminations to be viewed without opening the cable joint.

Joints can be supplied with a range of internal terminal blocks and outer canisters - options include straight joints, branch joints, multi-height variations, mounting chassis (standard and bespoke) plus joints for multi-core cables with O/D up to 25mm.

PTC traffic joints are specified by the UK Highways Agency for all MIDAS installations and many local authorities for inductive loop applications.
