Abtech SX hazardous area stainless steel enclosures and junction boxes are available in standard depths of 140, 200 or 300mm and can be fitted with removable gland plates and client approved terminals.

Abtech SX0 electrical enclosures, manufactured from stainless steel, are suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas according to the ATEX Directive – the junction box or electrical enclosure can be populated with cable terminals including Weidmuller, Phoenix and Wago types.

Fire Resistant Stainless Steel Enclosures & Junction Boxes

The Abtech SX0 enclosure can be upgraded for fire resistance applications when fitted with ceramic terminals meeting the requirement of IEC331 (750 degrees Celsius for 3 hours) and BS6387/1983 (950 degrees Celsius for 3 hours).
