Ellis Patents Pegasus nylon cable hangers are a non-metallic modular cable hanging system complete with a 6000 series aluminium shrouded spine.

The cable hangers are manufactured from a high strength nylon and can be manufactured to meets the requirements of the London Underground 1-085 specification with independent testing taken place to prove the conformity to the standard including toxicity, limited oxygen and smoke emission. 

The LUL 1-085 specification is the approval document that details all of the requirements of any materials to be used on London Underground and by TFL.

In order to conform to the 1-085 LUL standard, products must go through vigorous fire and safety testing to demonstrate that they are safe for use.

Ellis Patents Pegasus cable hangers are half the weight of their galvanised steel equivalent, require no maintenance and have a greater holding strength with the nylon type cable hangers able to hold up to a 40kg safe workload per hanger.

Pegasus cable hangers feature an extruded aluminium spine of marine grade quality with a specially shaped profile in order to offer high strength and quality cable support.

As the Pegasus cable hangers are a modular design, individual configurations can be made. 

Ellis Patents Pegasus cable hangers are resistant to self-corrosion and bi-metallic corrosion. The non-metallic composition of the product means corrosion would not occur even in the harshest environments.
